News: Lean & Mean 2010

Back to News

Since our last Lean & Mean Challenge, we’ve been conjuring up new ways to challenge everyone and stimulate their competitive juices. After some good brainstorming sessions, I think we’ve succeeded.

What is the Lean & Mean Challenge, you ask? Simply put, it is 12 weeks to put the pedal to the metal and drop the most body fat you can, and the Lean & Mean Challenge Version 2010 is around the corner!!!

This time the challenge is for teams of two – that’s right—you and a friend, family member, co-worker, or complete stranger (we’ll screen them for you, not to worry) can form a lean, mean, fat fighting team! The team with the greatest averaged percentage of their initial body fat will walk away with a $1500 shopping spree, Lean & Mean team jackets, and most importantly, bragging rights!!! But wait – that’s not all! Out of all of the team mates in the competition we will also be awarding the individual that looses the greatest percentage of their initial body fat with a $500 shopping spree!!! You could walk away with both prizes!!!

This year’s challenge starts January 10th, 2010 and will run for 12 weeks. Body fat testing will begin December 27th.

Many of us are holding ourselves back from accomplishing our goals. Maybe it’s hard for us to imagine really achieving the trim, lean body that we want, and since we really don’t believe we can achieve our desired goal, we sabotage it in little ways – we eat too much, drink too much, or exercise inconsistently.

Have you erected some of these self-imposed barriers? “I’m too old,” “I’m too fat,” “I don’t have the time,” “I’m afraid of failing again,” and the list goes on.

Imagine! In just 12 weeks you could have the best body you’ve ever had! But we don’t expect you to do it alone.

At One On One Fitness, we have the tools to help you get lean and stay that way. We have exceptional personal trainers to design your wining fitness program and to encourage you to meet or exceed your goals. We’ve got sound nutrition advice and guidance too.

The Lean and Mean Challenge is for everyone. Whether you want to lose weight and get lean or just want to get leaner, this challenge is for you.

The Lean and Mean Challenge provides you with an opportunity to do something wonderful and meaningful for yourself! Want to sign up or need a bit more information? Shoot us an email at oneononefitness@shaw.ca or give us a call us at 403.244.9059 – we can’t wait to hear from you!!!

We’re weighing in, and it’s not always a good thing. When the scale says we haven’t lost weight, we cut calories.
